AUTHENTICITY
Here’s the Math that no one really talks about. Sales are Math focused. Sales are Math driven.
To authentically growx sales and increase business you have to know the numbers. I sit down at the end of each month and review my numbers, aka the Math. This keeps me on track for the weekly,
Decide which period you will use these steps with. Perhaps start with weekly.
What is the weekly sales dollar amount?
What is the average number of sales you close in a week?
Divide the sales goal by the number of average sales and you have the number of sales you need to make to hit the goal.
This is a simple Math problem that you can solve.
Now that you know the number of sales required. Take a look at:
What worked best for you in closing sales?
What doesn’t work well, but can be tweaked?
What actions can be improved (10x)?
Which actions might be eliminated to changed to a different selling time or opportunity?
To start afresh, with new goals, set them higher than what you have achieved in the past.
Example:
Monthly Sales Goal: $50,000 - Yes, it may be “big” for some. Everything is relative.
Monthly Average Sales/Customer: $250
Number of Sales needed: 200
What’s the number of contacts needed (aka close ratio) to close 200 sales?
This is the math no one talks about. It’s simple. It’s easy. It’s doable for any sales organization.
Create the Authenticity you deserve by hitting your goals. Hit you goals by knowing your number.
